How to take a screenshot on a laptop

Here we are sharing both tricks for Windows Laptop and Mac Laptop in different steps.

To take a screenshot on a laptop, you can use the following methods:

Windows Laptop:

1. PrtSc (Print Screen) button: 
When you press prt sc button, a pop-up of the snipping tool will appear on your laptop screen. Then you can take screenshots by snipping tool.
or
Press the PrtScn button on your keyboard. The screenshot will be copied to the clipboard. Open an image editing software like Microsoft Paint or Adobe Photoshop and press Ctrl + V to paste the screenshot.

2. Alt + PrtSc: Press Alt + PrtScn to capture the currently active window. Follow the same steps as above to paste and save the screenshot.

3. Windows + PrtSc: Press Windows + PrtScn to capture the entire screen and automatically save it to the Screenshots folder in your Pictures folder.

4. Snipping Tool: Search for Snipping Tool in the Start menu. Select the desired capture mode (Full Screen, Window, or Rectangular Snip). Capture the screenshot and save it as desired.

Mac Laptop:

1. Command + Shift + 3: Press Command + Shift + 3 to capture the entire screen. The screenshot will be saved as a .png file on your desktop.

2. Command + Shift + 4: Press Command + Shift + 4 to capture a selected area. Drag the cross-hair pointer to select the area. Release the mouse button to capture the screenshot.

3. Preview: Open Preview, go to File > Take a Screenshot, and select the desired capture mode (From Selection, From Window, or From Entire Screen).

Remember, the screenshot will be saved to your desktop or clipboard, depending on the method you choose.
